This is a big thing that I miss from my old Amiga days, total control of my
screen's appearance! With my Amiga, I could set up different color schemes,
background textures (now called "skins") for individual programs; how cool
is that? Hey, I think I'll go pull it out of the closet! :-)

Thanks Donald, I didn't know that there was a program like this available
for Windows! I downloaded it right after your reply and I've been playing
with it all day; pretty cool, though still not as flexible as my old Amiga
OS; but hey, it's Windows! :-)

Nah. I can't spend hours adjusting colors and creating little graphic
objects, so I seldom use SkinStudio. I also know my wants and needs, and
can't STAND that Ugly Green Startbutton, so I mostly only use WindowBlinds.
I don't want CursorXP, though I do use IconPackager.
The rest of the Object Desktop stuff is not of interest to me, except for
WindowsFX. I didn't mind paying $49 (or less, for the renewal of my
license).
