My computer displays the wrong date and time after being
set, and I have to re-set it. What causes this? Can I
fix it?

Joe,
Is your computer more than a few years old? If so, you might want to
replace the BIOS battery and see if that solves your problem.
Hope this helps,

Joe should note whether he's losing time while the computer is running =
or while powered off. If it's while powered off, it's very likely the =
battery. If it's while running, it can *not* be the battery.
If it's while running, try this:
Go to Start | Run and type cmd
Then enter the following commands:
net stop w32time
w32tm /unregister
w32tm /register
net start w32timep
--=20
