I am running 2 hard drives. One with window and the other
with all my folders. Change from XP Pro to Home
edition. But forgot to share my folder before I changed
operating systems and now cannot access my folders as it
comes up access denied. Is there any way that I can get
my info out of this folder. Have tried safe mode with
administrator but it wont allow me to change permissions
to get access. If anyone can help it would be much
appreciated

An easier way to read newsgroup messages:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/using/newsgroups/setup.asp
Please respond to newsgroup only for everyone's benefit.

Unna;
Reboot, tapping F8 each second.
Select "Safe Mode" at the menu.
To get back to normal, simply reboot as usual, normal is the default.
