Trobleshooting MMC in XP Pro

Hi,
I've been trying to use MMC lately and I'm experiencing
problems now. This app worked fine until today when I
used "Disk Cleanup" and asked to remove old system restore
files. Now, something must've happened cause MMC seems
corrupted and won't run at all! I've tried to look for
pertinent info in the MS Knowledge Base, but there isn't
information on how to reinstall MMC in XP while it is
mentioned for 2000.

Can someone help please?
