I don't know much abt this but experienced same problem
on internet online purchasing in internet explorer 6. I
turned of my cookie disabling in the browser but that
didn't work. Apparently cookies need to be enabled by the
online company. Then i discovered my firewall and adware
prevention software both restricted or disabled cookies.
So i enabled them in that software ..with reservations.
However, the secure site did work after that but i made
sure i enabled protection again after doing the
transaction (just to be safe). Idunno if this helps?
