Every time I change my main HD I have this problem.
To solve it I have to manually copy the registry from a restore point using
the recovery console.
Today something different happened:
I bought a new 1tb HD and I connected it to my PC so to ghost my old main
drive to the new one.
But when I disconnected the 1tb hd, my system was exactly like before.. I
mean no new drive, no new nothing.
And I got the same problem I usually have when I change the main hd:
Windows login with black background (and not my own background)... I enter
username and password and windows LOGS OFF !
The only way to solve this is to restore the registry manually using the
recovery console.
That's because the system doesn't startup even in safe mode I have the same
login/logoff problem.

But I wish to know THE REASON !
