I had to install XP since all my 98 windows/system/ files
disappeared.
Anyone know which cab file to extract or a site to get
system files since I can use dual boot only getting into
XP I have to use 98 startup disc to see the CD ROM.
When I type setup it goes through scandisk stopping at
key which I input with no success.

Hi,
Which cab file for Win98 contains your system files? All of them. If the
system folder is gone, rerun setup. Bypass scandisk using the /is switch. If
the Product Key is giving you fits, see:

Also, as installing Win98 will overwrite the XP bootloader, see this from
