Norton antivirus only checks downloads and stuff coming in
on emails, it's not a firewall. You need internet
security to get the firewall. There are little (and big
ones too that never grew up) jerks trying to plant
backorifice or other similar trojans on you all the time,
those let them have free reign of your system and you
wouldn't know it unless you know how to look. Download
the try-it version of pestpatrol at www.pestpatrol.com
it'll detect keyloggers and spyware but you still need a
firewall to go with it. There are posts in here abut
norton 2003 so I'd avoid that one till they fix that
problem, I've got norton 2002 and i'm not having the
problems the 2003 people are running into. Xp comes with
a basic version of a firewall but I'm a norton fan all the
way.
