Hi, I just purchased a full version of XP pro, to upgrade
my XP Home edition. I have receipts etc. to prove I am not
a pirate, but I have lost the code. What can I do? I
called the place I purchased it and they said "look real
hard", not much help. Can anyone help me, I hate to have
wasted 189.00 bucks. Thanks

Phil;
If Windows XP is retail, contact Microsoft:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q295539

If Windows XP is OEM (My guess judging by price), contact the seller,
Microsoft can not help.

Also if it is OEM, you can not perform an upgrade, OEM are designed
for Clean Installation only so you will need to back-up important
data.
These are a few of the reasons OEM is cheaper than retail.
