My XP install said nothing about Administrator accounts but did create the
users i entered with administrator privileges. Does it not have a default
Administrator account? I ask because the registry got corrupted recently and
i could not get to the recover console because it kept asking me for an
Admin password. To my knomledge i never set one up and my personal user
account password wouldn't work. Blank wouldn't work. So I had to completely
restore and lose data. I rather set my administrator account up and document
it in a safe place so I won't have the same problem if Xp dies again. But i
cannot find the Admin account, just the user accounts.

Len;
Reboot, tap F8 once a second.
Choose Safe Mode at the menu.
This is one way to access the normally hidden Administrator.
