I have the same problem. Winxp with norton internet
security 2003. I found a document on Symantec web site.
Click on search, look for "Norton Internet Security 2003
does not load on reboot after applying the 6.04 patch via
LiveUpdat" See if you have version 6.04.34, if you do,
this may help you. Do a search typing NIS 2003 not
loading, and hopefully it will bring up this document
dated 6/9/03.
