I have the same problem. Winxp with Norton Internet
Security 2003. I found a document on Symantec web
site "Norton Internet Security 2003 does not load on
reboot after applying the 6.04 patch via LiveUpdate". Go
to web site and click search. Search for NIS 2003 not
loading, and hopefully it will bring up document dated
6/9/03. The last 4 numbers of doc are 5436. I have not
done solution yet as it just came out. See if you have
NIS version 6.04.34, if you do, this will probably help.
