I ghosted a hard drive with Windows XP on it then
installed a new hard drive and extracted the ghost to the
new drive. Now immediately after log in i get an error
and am prevented from logging in. The error is
0x8009006 "A problem is preventing Windows from
accurately checking the license for this computer."

Any Suggestions would be great,

Thanks,

Mike

Mike you can't do that with xp cause if it's WPA protection scheme (A bitch
isn't)?

See lemme explain, Just cause you activated before ya ghosted doesn't mean
WPA is disabled, it's just sleep and it will wake when do if not all the
following

#1 change 6 pieces of hardware
#2 try to modify any *.DLL file sitting in %SystemRoot%\system32\oobe to
disable WPA
#3 delete or modify HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WPA or any keys linked to it
(Don't even think that route, this key and any keys linked to it are
encrypted using a one way hash function)
#4 leave winxp turn off for more then 10,000 years
#5 attempt to hack those sensitive *.gov sites
#6 using Windows XP to locate Bin Laden without MS's permission
#7 Cloning ya hard disk with ghost
