Task Scheduler gives Access Denied

2nd post!

Please anyone....

I am using the user account name that the system came with
(Owner), with password set, but no matter what I do cannot
get the Task Scheduler service to start. Keeps coming
back with "Error 5: Access is denied" when I try to start
it (set to Automatic start, under Log on set to Local
System account with Interact with Desktop checked)

The log file it generates in Windows/SchedLgU.Txt contains:

Task Scheduler Service Started at 6/11/03 10:57:06pm
A failure occurred during service initialization
The specific error is: 0x80070005: Access is denied
Try using the Task Page Browse Button to locate the
application.
Task Scheduler Exited at 6/11/03 10:58.01pm....

Any clues anyone ???? I am completely stuck, cannot
schedule any backup jobs now whatsoever. :(((
