Check with your isp, they may have a free one or provide
it as a function of your email service.
Mindspring/earthlink has one and I think it works pretty
good, its' been stopping over 80 spams a day in my case,
only a very few get through and you can go to their web
mail site and mark the few getting through as spam and ask
it to block those as well. You can also completely block
anyone not in your address book with that one.

Sue, I've been following your replies for a while and find them quite
valuable. It seems that you reply to posts by starting a new post -- this is
not conventional in a newsgroup. If you do not use the 'reply' function of
your newsreader, your post is not threaded with the original question and
the continuity is lost.

This also makes it difficult for readers who like to 'watch' conversations
(to use the Outlook Express terminology).
