hi guys !
this is important. I am trying to send my CV to a company
that is waiting for it. I am using my yahoo account to
attach a word document but wen i send it the receiver
actually gets is inside the text window with lots of code
instead of getting is as an attachement.
if i send it to my self it works fine.

why is that? could it be their antivirus ? what can u do
to send it to them as a word document since it seams that
the normal way is not working?

thanks a lot for your help. lasse

Try sending it in a zip file, or with an unrecognizable attachment name
(cv.doz instead of cv.doc for instance). On the receiving end, they'll need
to save the attachment out and either unzip it or rename it, depending on
which option you used. Of course, if whatever is messing with the files is
messing with ALL files, you still may run into trouble, but it should be
worth a try.

Greetings --

You'll have to ask this question of Yahoo's technical support
personnel. Web-based email systems often have problems with
attachments. Why not simply use Outlook Express to send the file?
