I'm trying to install microsoft publisger 97 and at the
setup I get an error "the win16 subsystem was unable to
enter protected mode, dosx.exe must be in your
autoexec.nt and present in your path"
I can't find anything in the knowledge base for XP only NT
What do I do? Is something not configured right?

Chris,
This may or may not be helpful:
To run the Program Compatibility Wizard
1.. Start the Program Compatibility Wizard. (Click Start, click Help and
Support, click Fixing a problem, click Application and software problems,
under Fix a problem click Getting older programs to run on Windows XP, and
then click the Program Compatibility Wizard link in the instructions.)
2.. Follow the instructions in the wizard.
