When I log into Windows XP Pro, on the screen I see my
name. Under my name it says I have for example, 4 unread
email address's. What email address is it using?

Thanks. I can't believe there is no way to change this.
Well, Microsofts article states that the only
applications that can update that registry item is
Windows Messenger and Microsoft Outlook Express. And
basically, does not tell you how to change this. Well
maybe if they realize that AOL email updates this field,
they will give users a way to change it to a hotmail or
outlook express account. Cause that is just what it
does. AOL updates that field to be your AOL email when
you install AOL on your PC. :) So I hope Microsoft will
now provide a way to change this.

Go Start|Run type in "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes) and hit
Enter. Uncheck the box which states "Users must enter a user name and
password to use this computer". Now your computer should boot straight into
Windows as it did before this update :-)
