Some errors .. please help ..

The following error appears when I start up. The program it seems is "Sound
Max".

Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having.

The .CPL file it is looking for is the Control Panel applet shortcut. I would recommend re-installing the software as recommended. If you don't have the software, I would recommend visiting the website of the appropriate company to obtain the latest software.

The *.cpl file type seems to refer to a component of a speech recognition
engine.

Maybe you have recently installed something like ViaVoice, or a messenger
service with voice over internet features.
A soundcard driver update and /or reinstall of any previously mentioned
apps may be the best place to start.
