I use partition Magic/BootMagic to select either WinXp or WinME partition.
Because of some problem in WinXP O/S, I reinstall and repair WinXP. Now,
after I select WinXP from the Bootmagic screen, another screen appears
asking me to choose WinXP or another unknown system (ie WinME). How can I
get rid of this screen created by WinXP?
Thank you.

Hello-
I don't know the answer to your question, but your troubles may be solved by moving to a Windows XP only installation. I've found that people usually keep dual-boot setups because of older applications. Windows XP has an amazing capability to run older applications using special Application Compatibility modes. Go to Control Panel, System, Advanced, Startup and Recovery. In the System
Startup section, click the Edit button. This will open BOOT.INI in Notepad.
Remove the line that references the Win Me installation and save the file.
If you're not sure of what to delete, post the contents of BOOT.INI here.
