Hello, does anyone know how to remove the read-only
folder attribute? I tried to clear the folder's attribute
on the General tab but does not work. All the folders on
my Windows XP Pro have this option enabled, however I'm
able to delete, rename or whatsoever. I have
administrative permission to the local machine, which is
in a workgroup. I perfomed a clean installation, diabled
the Folder Options "Use simple file sharing" and
formatted to NTFS.
Is this normal or not? If i create a new folder, this
gets the read-only attribe applied. If I take ownership,
though by creating it I am the owner, and then change the
attributes, it won't.
Thanks for the support, sincerely Robert
