After my user settings are loaded i get the
message "Windows can't find wipe4x86.inf" How do I get &
install this file? Thanks

Hi John,
It's probably a good thing that it doesn't. It's not a windows file, and the
name (which is suspicious in itself) comes up empty on a web search. I would
suspect that something was trying to infect your machine, but your AV
software caught it and removed the file. It just didn't remove the reference
to it.
Start/run msinfo32, expand the software environment and click on the startup
programs. Look for a line referencing that file and make note of where it is
loading from (I would suspect a run key in the registry). This is where you
need to go to remove the line. Post back with the location if you are unsure
of how to do this.

No such file on my system. Some 3rd party application which has been
partially removed/uninstalled perhaps?
