I would like to pin a G Mail shortcut to the taskbar but MS has decided
not to let this happen??? Can not be done---- anyone figure this out.

It appears http shortcuts are pinned to IE. I see no way to pin http
shortcuts directly to the taskbar.

Seems like an awful lot of work!
If the OP pins the URL to IE, then all he has to do is to right-click on the
IE icon in the taskbar and the pinned item appears at the top..

Drag the URL to the taskbar and it will get pinned to IE. Right-click on IE
in the taskbar to see your pinned items..
