Several minutes? How many is "several"? Did you run the Win7 advisor before
upgrading the Vista PC? Have you checked for any Win7 drivers from the PC
manufacturer? Was the PC running well when it had Vista on it?
I upgraded my notebook to Win7 from Vista, and it takes less than 1-1/2
minutes from power on to functionality, about the same amount of time as my
XP desktop.
