Right, I have a very angry customer who can't fix her user
profile.

The computer remembers her name, loads all of her personal
settings, but insists that it is a "temporary" account.

I ran her through users on the control panel, created a
new one called 'tryout' hoping that she can log in as
tryout, delete and then rebuild her original account.
Despite all of this, Windows XP insist that tryout is
logged in as a temporary account.

Please can you tell me how to prevent the computer from
displaying this daft message? Its TOTALLY irrelavent.
Whats the point in displaying the message when nothing is
wrong to begin with? Thanks.

Benjy

Have you read this?

Corrupted" (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=318011).
