Has anyone else here come across the right click problem in Win 7?
When i right click on a folder there is a delay of approx 5 seconds
before the right click menu appears. On larger files - eg those
containing dvd files the delay can be nearly 20 seconds before a
menu appears. I wonder what can be done to sort this out?

Your experience is not mine at all. No delay here.

Ive had this - turned out to be the virus checker.... swapped to MS Security

nothing ? )

Hi, Cheers for replies. Traced problem to Roxio media creator 9 -
Win 7 did not like one of its drivers although this program showed
it was compatible with Win 7 on running upgrade compatibility check.
Now uninstalled Roxio and replaced with Media creator 10 (def Win 7
friendly)
Regards
Howard
