My computer has been shutting down and restarting on its
own. It is doing it more frequently and is becoming a
major problem. What can I do to correct this? Thank You.

Open Control Panel and click Performance and Maintenance.
Select System.
Select the Advanced tab.
Click Settings in the Startup and Recovery tab.
Uncheck Automatically Restart.
Now you will see the blue screen and you can post its contents.

>Press ctrl+alt+delete to get to the task manager. look in the processes for
a file called msbatch.exe
>If you find it stop it running by clicking end process.
>Go to start\search and find all occurrences of this file and delete them.
>Finally log on to windows update and download all the latest security
patches which will include a fix for this problem
>I would also recommend that you install and run a good virus checker and a
firewall.
