View Full Version : recycle bin shows full and nothing is in there

can someone help. the recycle bin shows it has trash in
there buth there is nothing in there. when i have the
recycle bin open and i click on empty recycle bin, it
says are you sure you want to delete windows. ther's
nothing in there to delete. I've tried to restore the
icon default in the diplay settings but does not work
What do i do for it to work properly?

Try to reset the Bin. Boot to the Recovery Console and use the command
DEL to empty all the RECYCLED folders on all drives, then use RD to
remove these folders itself.

Here is a trick I use: Try to delete a text file (make a blank one) or
anything at all that puts it in the recycle bin. When "that" file is in the
bin, click on "empty recycle bin". This will clear the bin and will show it
is empty. ---Daniel
