chkdsk

I have a 6 month old Sony Vaieo. Last week it started to
run chkdsk almost every time i booted. I have run norton
utilities and nithing seems to work. The computer run s
fine except for this. Do you think i have a problem with
my hard drive?

Click Start>Run, type MSCONFIG and click OK. See if there is "chkdsk" in
the Start Up tab. If so, make sure it is unchecked, click OK, and restart.

Go to Kelly's A-Z to see what she has on Check Disk (includes "how to
schedule a chkdsk for every boot", which might tell you how to stop
it).
