File Deletion

I have a group of files that I would like to delete, the
problem is that they are read only, and will not be
deleted. I have tried to right click them and change the
properties of them but that does not work. I have also
gone into ms dos, to try to delete them but again not a
chance. The files were put there by a program I installed
but when I uninstalled the program, it left me these
files. If anyone has an answer, solution, please email me
at

It is common practice to answer questions in the newsgroup, not to
particular email-adresses.
Please be specific: what files, what program?
