Cannot reset ANY folders in XP from their Read-Only
designation. Last effort consisted of changing a newly
created test folder's properties to Level 5 (Shared on
the Network - Read and Write), applying that change,
selecting "OK", thus exiting the folder. I then right-
clicked on the folder (Windows Explorer access)
and "unchecked" the Read-Only box. The "X" in the box
disappeared, then I selected "Apply" after which I
selected "OK". When I looked at the properties again,
the Read-Only designation remained.
Any suggestions?
