Symantic Updates NOT

When I run the live update program for Symanyic's Norton Personal Firewall
I'm being told that the update cannot be installed for the following
reasons:
Windows XP 5.1.2600 Service Pack 1

NORTON INTERNET SECURITY 6.0.1.2
Does anyone know what exactly is causing this,(never had problems with "Live
Update" before, or how to fix?

You will probably get an answer from Symantec, it is their error
message.
Otherwise uninstall/reinstall the firewall.
