HI When I go to shut down my pc I get "error loading
setupx.dll what does it mean and how do I put it right.
Also another user of my pc gets "Application Failed to
start because MS097.dll was not found reinstall may fix
it" Again I dont have a clue what it is or how to
reinstall it I would be really gratful for any advice.

Hi Gary-
Did you recently remove some software or install something new. It sounds like your PC is looking for files that were removed or overwritten. You could try the System Restore feature of Windows XP to go back to a previously known good configuration which should help.

Hi Mike
Thanks for your quick reply. The only date I can
restore to is 5th August as I had a hoax virus and
deleted some "teddy bear" thing that was something to do
with Java? I ran the Windows XP disc that came with the
system to restore it and its more or less since then that
I've noticed this little quirk. Also when my wife logs on
to her account she gets the MS097.dll fault, it only
happens on hers the same as the systemx error is on my
account. Is there something I can download to repair
these little glitches they don't seem to affect anything
they're just annoying.
Thanks again for your help
