My laptop is TOSHIBA C850.
The default power settings for Hibernate is off.
However, if I turn it on and when it resumes from hibernate, the screen
will hang, worse still, it could take many restarting to make it work
properly again. Does any one has the same problem? A solution?

This is a Windows 8 newsgroup, but the subject says Windows 7. Which OS
are you using with this problem?

Sorry, I just found the right newsgroup. If any one here happens to know
the solution, please answer me at alt.windows7.general. Many thanks!
