i converted a drive on my computer to NTFS format, so i
can manage some security options and restrict some
directories.
BUT the security tab that should appear when you right
click a file or folder and select properties is not there
at all. only the disk quota is there.
what can i do. i need help.

You also need to Disable Simple File Sharing:

Of course this assumes you're running Windows XP Pro (not Home)
