A computer on our network is not giving replys when we
ping it. From the computer we can browse the network,
get to the internet, and ping other machines on the
network. When we try to ping this machine from another
machine, using both IP Address and Netbios name. Neither
reply. Is there a way to disable a machine or the nic
card from sending a reply?

i bet the machine is blocking ICMP echo's (ie; ping!) this is often used by
busy servers, such as www.microsoft.com.
