My computer is leaving .dll icons everywhere. Some of
them cannot be deleted, and the ones that can display a
danger message that states that my programs may not work.
Is there a way to prevent these from getting left behind?

Thom-
Where are the icons being left? Are they in the system folders under
c:\program files or c:\windows or in unexpected places? Also, are you
running up-to-date anti-virus software?
