You can simply open Windows Explorer, find a zip file, right
click it, select open with, and select the option you want.
In Internet Explorer, Tools/Internet Options/advanced tab,
check the option you want for IE to follow.

Open Windows Explorer, go to Tools, Folder Options, File Types. Locate the
entry for ZIP files. Highlight it and click Advanced. Put the check mark in
Confirm open after download.
