How do tell which Edition I have?

If you have XP Home it is for sure 32bit.
If you have XP Pro..Right click on My Computer and select Properties. If
you see 64-bit in there anywhere u have 64 it it does not say 64 then u have
32.

Unless you spent several thousand dollars for your computer, then you have
the 32 bit edition. The 64 bit edition only runs on the Itanium processor.

Something else that's the obvious if MS does the obvious. In the 32 bit
versions, if you go to the Winnt directory, there's a folder named system32.
Wouldn't logic dictate on 64 bit versions that that folder would be
system64???
