my account is set up as an administrator. i cannot find
any reason, but if try to access internet options from the
tools menu i get following error msg:
'this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in
effect on this computer. Please contact your system
administrator.'
what the heck? have no idea how to get around this.
setting up new account is too much of a pain in the neck,
e.g., mail accts, etc.
arughghghgh! help

Is this a domain joined computer? Your domain administrator can set group
policy that will not let you change the internet options settings
Run "rsop.msc" to see if any group policy is set to this effect
