unknown user type

I'm having a problem with XP. I'm running two Dell
mahcines in a "small" network. There are two options for
user type in the users menu; Limited and Admin. Every
couple of days, the limited accounts change to "Unknown
Account Type." The only other information I can offer is
that we've had to modify user types within the Computer
Management/Users menus. They were changed to "Power
Users" in order to allow access accross the network for an
Incident Reporting software we have installed. Any
thoughts?
