I am using a Windows XP Pro computer on a Windows 2000
Active Directory domain. The admin has scripts setup to
use 2-mapped drives (J: and K:)that work fine. However,
the batch file maps a users "personal mapped drive" H: -
what happens is after shutting the system down. I start
and have to drill down through the directory structure to
the domain share and enable DFS settings to "active" -
then I can use the H: map again. DFS resets after a cold
reboot.
Can anyone help with this. XP Pro has all alvalilbel
updates installed and I am assuiming this may be a DFS
server issue. Please help

Thanks ahead

Where is that ?
Do you mean that after a cold reboot (but not a warm one?)
the DFS Client service is not running ?
