keyboard end key

In previous version of windows up through Win98 clicking
the end key on thekeyboard drive the cursor to the end of
the line it was in. In Windows XP clicking on the end key
does nothing. Why was this function changed, and can I
get it back? I find being able to move the cursor to the
end of the line very useful.

Could there be something wrong with your keyboard???
I am using Word XP and it seems to work fine.
