I was in the middle of something and couldn't reboot, and my task bar at
the bottom disappeared, the Windows key didn't make it appear, and I
couldnt' get to the icons on the desktop, or the program icons that the
start button or windows key displays.
I found that at least cntl-alt-delete allowed one to run anything that
Start / Run could run, and at least one of my windows programs had a
simple name and started that way, but I couldn't remember the names of a
couple others.
I tried to run Systray and nothing happened,
but I think when I ran Desktop, everything at the bottom showed up
again. It was just a guess.
