I don't think XP handles 3GB drives without changes. One possibility is to
partition the drive into 2 or more, so no partition is over 2,2 TB

My 2 TB Win XP disk is almost full, so I've been trying to transfer
the content to a new 3TB disk. I first used Paragon Hard Disk Manager
2009 Suite but it failed to recognize its partitions (all red marked).
Then, thinking this version was not desined to handle a disk larger
than 2TB, I bought Paragon Hard Disk Manager 15 Suite. The cloning
process was completed on the screen. When I started the computer, it
showed boot menu so I chose Normally, but as soon as Win XP logo
appeared it crashed and restarted. If I chose Safe Mode, the result is
the same. Finally, I downlorded Clonezilla Live and used its Default
setting. Everything appeared normal. But when the computer started,
the result was exactly same as with Paragone.
It seems that, because booting happens up to Win XP logo appears,
failure may have something to do with MBR. During cloning with
Clonezilla, MBR must change to GUID.Perhaps my MOB (Gigabyte B75M-D3H
and Asus P8Z77-V Pro) cann not boot 3TB disk?
I do not want to switch to Win 7 or above, if this is the problem.
Your help will be most appreciated.
