applications windows go out of the screen (to the right)on
windows XP. and nothing can be done to bring them back to
the center of my screen (I can't even see them). the cursor
has sometimes the same behaviour and "hides" somewhere in
the right side of my screen to get stucked there. the
cursor blocks on all sides except the right one. so tell
me, is there a kind of oasis where windows ans mouse's
cursor go to have some rest ?

Check for third party cursor software installed on the machine. Not sure
of your mouse but look into getting an updated driver.

Also, use msconfig to clean boot your machine and see if it might not be a
third party application of some kind.
