The stats only count machines connected to the Internet. Due
to M$ scare campaign(TM), the majority are probably offline but still
working.
Win 7, 8 and 10 machines are probably almost 100% online.
I read somewhere that some even "deactivate" if you don't go
online once in a while to update the backdoors, I mean, verify the
system. That might have been the betas, though.

XP usage is certainly much higher than advertised.

there is nothing wrong with using xp. Just have to modify the software
of what your wanting to do online. Why use a new browser, they are
just junk now. They are made to pull multiple files from mulitiple
servers, and what happens is, they get screwed up, which is what is
wrong the the idiots programming of corporation web pages, pile stuff on
one page so that they must talk to 5o servers before you have the page
up, which is so dam dumb and takes so dam long....

So the old browsers are still working better, like ie 9 etc. Unless you
go to those media sites such as news and crap like that, and then, you
must put up with what I had just said, pages that dont work because of
to many programmers on the one page.... And that shows you, just where
corporation pig 666 is taking you, straight to hell....

browser like the are trying to force you to go and get, it still does
it.... crash bang boom even with multiple cpus, it does not matter....
Nothing wrong with older op systems, as a matter of fact, if you get
caught with your pants down in the new MS garbage, you cannot figure the
paths inside the machine, because of mulitiple names that are for the
same exact thing. Which is just like a liar... Cause MS is a liar.

A lot of retail stores still use XP with their registers.

I was in one store that was using Win 98. :-)

A lot of lab instruments use old versions of Windows.
