Web pages about Windows 10 say I should be able to right click the start menu to personalise it, but right clicking does nothing. Any way to fix this, or get to the settings another way?

Hmmm, not much customisation is possible. I might go back to classic shell like I used in Windows 8. Especially if it stays at only six (!) MRU apps.

I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are missing.

So I visited 2 of the above links.
Here is what I found:

LifeHacker ->
"For the first time ever, the Start menu is very customizable"

DigitalTrends ->
"There’s a lot of different customization options, much more so than any
previous version of Windows"

Gotta love these stupid Microsoft fanboys; the new start menu is the
LEAST customizable it's ever been. These guys smoke some good stuff.

Regards,
