Many of us have overlooked the obvious - have you checked to ensure your
speakers are plugged in, power on etc? (it happens).
Have you checked Control Panel->Sounds to ensure that sound is not muted or
needs to be turned up?
If the sound is integrated you might have to install the drivers for your
chipset - check your motherboard site.

Harry Ohrn,
Thanks for your input!! Speackers etc., did that a few
times. When my son tried to play "ATOMICA DELUXE",
"Failed To Load Sound: sounds\capclick" comes up.Control
panel sounds file, states "No play back devices". Tried
Mother board software, off to go try mb's site!!
System Info. >>Sound Device>> Is Empty
Direct X Diagnostic >> Sound >> NO SOUND CARD INSTALLED
Trouble Shooter>> Sound.. ETC... A lesson on ........
....................INFINITY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank-you,,,,,,,,,,,Very Much!!!
Tara
PS ... No spell cheack..in Outlook Express, was one
of "IT'S" ... First signs.
