When exactly do you get this error message?

The message comes up when the machine is started. We had
the msblaster problem and got it fixed. I don't know if
this is related. The Windows Search (from the start
button) doesn't work either. I thought we should try to
reinstall Windows to see that will fix the two problems.

No, it won't. Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\RunOnce
Look in the right pane for anything referencing the TFTP3880 file. If you
find a value that references that file name, right click it and select
Delete.
If you don't find it in the above Registry locations, click Start, Run and
enter MSCONFIG Go to the Startup tab and look for it there. Uncheck any
item that references it.

Thanks!!!
Is this error because of the msblast.worm? What about the
problem with the search not working. The white bubble
with the search info is blank. Is this because of the
worm?

I don't believe its related to the MSBlast worm, unless there's a new
variant of it out, but it is indicative of one or more other viruses. You
should update your antivirus software and rescan your system.
And the Search issue could be caused by it, but I can't swear to it.

Jonathan Johnson had a detailed August 11th post on manual removal of
the MSblast worm, which said in part:
1) When Windows starts up, you may get an error message which says
that a file name "TFTP" (or something similar) cannot be found. The
filename will have a random number at the end. For example, mine was
"TFTP2434".

I can't find that message. Can you direct me to it?
